I was told there was the connected – body mind – aura fluffing massage for relaxation which is one benefit of Swedish massage and that there was the “techy” stuff. Implying that with increased skill and specificity one somehow lost their heart and connection. I am proud that this is not true of the faculty and graduates of ASHA. I am honored to have been taught by the faculty at ASHA who are ALL gifted, skilled, compassionate healers and patient supportive, effective teachers and always, endearingly their own unique selves. It has been a privilege for us to be their students.
