Having been in this business since 1994, I feel confident in my ability to discern a well trained therapist. Unfortunately, the bartending schools of massage are more interested in people’s tuition money than they are in the quality/accuracy of the education they provide.
Since they churn out lots of ‘graduates’ these people are the ones seeking employment more often than graduates from reputable, responsible schools.

I feel ASHA is one of the best schools in the country as you clearly provide education on the entirety of the massage therapy process, i.e., techniques, relevant modalities (particularly NMT/trigger point work), professionalism (appearance as well as communication abilities), knowledge and confidence.
