William Britt is a caring, compassionate individual who blesses everyone he comes in contact with. He is a highly-regarded licensed massage therapist specializing in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, therapeutic Swedish massage, myofascial release and fundamental Thai massage. His professional goal is to promote healing and health awareness to clients through various massage modalities and nutritional education.

Through his personal transformational experiences over a 22 year period, William was drawn to the career and practice of massage. He had been working in the healthcare field since 1994 as an equipment service technician, recovery room technician, anesthesia technician and pharmacy technician.

When he was working at the pharmacy, a massage therapist came to give chair massages to the employees. Within the first 10 minutes, William felt such a deep sense of peace and relaxation; it was then that he knew he wanted to share this experience with others.

William developed a very strong spiritual foundation, stemming from an experience of prayer that released an explosion of life in his heart and healed him from a catatonic state that had hospitalized him. His massage practice not only addresses and corrects structural imbalances, alleviates and eliminates pain, but is also an extension and expression of his spiritual faith.

William recognizes that his massage sessions are a prayer in action that release love within his client and himself. He is always amazed and grateful to facilitate the blessing, upliftment and joy he and his clients experience during and after the sessions. William finds that through his prayerful massage, the mental/emotional and spiritual aspects of the tension are naturally alleviated as he balances the physical structure. This is his great fulfillment.

William is a graduate of the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts (ASHA) School of Massage and eagerly facilitates the training of prospective massage therapists as an assistant instructor in the sports massage program and as the Student Clinic Supervisor. He mentors the students, coaches them in the various techniques, helps them develop immediate and long range treatment plans for their clients, as well as helps them through physical issues that they may bring to class.

William oversees as many as eleven treatment rooms that are in use simultaneously, and ensures that all work is performed in accordance with ASHA’s high quality standards. He evaluates each student based on criteria set by the clinic as well as through client comments. Afterwards, he provides documented feedback to the student along with the coaching they need to enhance their skills.

In 2008 William was recognized by Cambridge “Who’s Who” as a lifelong member for his outstanding work as a massage therapist. He has also worked at the prominently known Spa Sydell in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia. It is no surprise that during his tenure there he was the most requested male therapist. William has also worked with A Family Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia; Alree’s Salon and Spa, in East Point, Georgia; Dr. Beverly Martin’s Chiropractic Center in Marietta, Georgia; and with GNLD Wellness Center in Decatur, Georgia. He is also the owner/operator of A Touch of Health in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
