Richard Eubanks

Richard Eubanks is a 2008 graduate of ASHA and has been an a instructor of Neuromuscular Therapy since 2010. He has studeid and assisted in the teaching of Integrative Craniosacral Therapy. In his practice he uses techniques from these two modalities as well as Muscle Energy techniques and Active Isolated Stretching.
Richard had his first professional massage in 2005. It was only a 15 minute massage of the neck and shoulders but the relief he experienced was enough to convince him that massage was a necessity not a luxury. As he started getting massage on a regular basis his body became more flexible and less painful.
As his health improved Richard developed a desire to bring this healing touch to others. So in the fall of 2007 he gave up his career of 33 years working with the structure of buildings to begin working with the structure of the human body. He enrolled at ASHA where he learned the three main modalities of Swedish, Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, the flagship program that is exclusively ASHA’s
Since graduation he has pursued a course of study in Intergrative Craniosacral, which not only rids one of the underlying issues that cause pain and restricted movement but also has a profound effect on sensory integration, enhancing one’s ability to attend and to transition from one task to the next in an efficient manner, facilitating a fuller, more complete life.
I first had Richard as an anatomy student. He was exceptional in all regards, especially his detailed assignments. He also studied craniosacral in my seminars and showed the same diligence. He is currently working with me as an assistant in neuromuscular therapy. The students revere him as competent and caring. In a recent graduation ceremony, students were in tears as they expressed their appreciation for helping them through the tough times. Richard is a strong therapist and a valuable part of the team.
