Become an ASHA-Trained Certified Somatic Therapist (CST)

Why would you want to take the first graduate program for massage therapists in the southeast? Well, because in about 400 hours, you can add 3 or 4 certifications to your technique bag, and at least double your areas of clinical competence.

You will truly set yourself apart from your peers. A Certified Somatic Therapist is an advanced massage therapist who focuses on the whole person - mind, body, and spirit.

Quick-Read: How to Become a Certified Somatic Therapist (CST)

  • The Certified Somatic Therapist Program is about 400-450
        hours, including class and clinic.
  • CST classes are offered in day, night, and weekend formats.
  • Each of the 4 certification classes will take about 4 months
        to complete.
  • You can take 1 or 2 classes at a time, and finish in 8-16
months. Or take one class a year, and finish in four years.
  • The total cost will be about $5,000 to $7,000, depending on
        the 3 electives you choose.
  • The monthly cost will be about $300-$375 for each of the
        4 classes.
  • You will take 3 elective classes (from 10 possible choices),
        and 1 required class.
  • Classes will be offered every three months. You can start
at any time they are offered.

That's the overview of what it takes to be an ASHA-Trained Certified Somatic Therapist (CST). You'll deepen your knowledge of western and/or eastern techniques and add sophistication to your ability to facilitate emotional release.
